Speech Pathology 

Hello to all of you I haven’t met yet – you may have seen me around the region in the last year or so after making the big move from Melbourne for a piece of the quieter life.  With a broad range of career experiences in hospital, community, community health, education and residential care, I am enjoying the diverse opportunities for clinical practice at Numurkah District Health Service.  Every Wednesday I have a broad appointment schedule including preschool children with speech and language delays, adults in the community who have difficulties with speech and swallowing and adults in our hospital and residential care facilities who require assistance with their communication and swallowing. 

I hope to be involved in community health promotion in the future with a focus on prevention and early identification of communication and swallowing difficulties. All enquiries about our speech pathology service are very welcome – please call on a Wednesday if you wish to chat with me directly.
