What is a Dietitian?

Dietitians are experts in food and nutrition advice.  Everyone needs good nutrition.  What each of us eats for health and enjoyment varies with our needs and tastes. 

A Dietitian can help you achieve the optimal diet to assist in the management of your medical condition.

A Dietitian will assess your present nutritional state, educate you about what is best to help your condition, then suggest changes to your present diet and exercise habits that will fit in with your lifestyle.

    A Referral from your Doctor or other health professional is preferred, but people are able to self refer to the service.

    This service incurs a fee of $8.30 for all clients apart from children and low income earners.
